  Photographers relax on the stairs between reviews

And waiting after lunch on the landing for the next session.
Incidentally the lunches, provided by the Warehouse Cafe, were excellent.

Finally it was over, all the reviews finished and we were back in the hotel bar,
relaxing before our 'mystery trip' on some of Birmingham's many canals

 

After a meal together at one of Birminghams trendier bars (unfortunately not a lace I'd recommend) we were back at the bar, and feeling tired now it was over. I could go home the next morning, bu the team in Birmingham had all the clearing up still to do.

It really was an enjoyable and useful experience for me - and I think also for at least some of those whose work I reviewed. Quite a few of them will be featured on >Re:Photo and also some on Luminous Light in the next few months.
