Wedding 'Die-In' Against Afghanistan War

Northwood, Middlesex. Wednesday 27 May, 2009



The wedding party - with two pairs of bride & groom - prepares to move off
 
   and walks down the main road on its way to the base
 
Police stop demonstrators inclding Maya Evans as they turn into Watford Rd
 
but after a few minutes they were allowed to march up it, with a large police escort      
 
 
 
200m metres from the main gate police told marchers to leave the road and continue the protest on the verge and the die-in began
       
The protesters had brought fake blood to sprinkle on themselves and the road
