United Friends & Families March

Trafalgar Square to Downing St, London. Saturday 30 Oct 2010

 Samantha Rigg-David speaking in Whitehall

After Samantha finished speaking, Marcia Rigg-Samuel read the letter from the campaign to David Cameron

The families then walked across towards Downing St to try and deliver the letter

The police refused to let anyone into Downing St to deliver the letter and would not even take it themselves

The police continued to refuse to accept a letter or let the families in, although they had asked an MP to make
arrangements for them to do so - but apparently this had not been done.

Finally police let the familes tape the letter - a copy in the envelope as well as on the left,
the photograph and flowers to the gates .
