	J11 Carnival against Capitalism West End, London. Tue 11 Jun 2013
	People were being stopped and searched on the street all over the area Police had blocked off over a hundred yards of Beak St These pictures were taken from the press area and are cropped from a view taken with a 450mm (equiv) lens The press couldn't really see the front of the building as they were too far back People watched the street from shops and other windows The police with riot shields were opposite the front of the building. Inside were a fairly small number of peaceful protesters, including some children
	A woman watches the street from an upper floor window, Some supporters of the protesters came to join the crowds at each end of the blocked street You could see a little more from the west end of the police block Some of those trapped in the 'convergence centre' squat came out to take pictures On the roof above, a man in climbing gear more people watching the police operation
