Sotheby's 'Dignity under the Hammer' protest

Old Bond St, London. Wed 1 Jul 2015

The police obviously seem to be trying to do what Sotheby's want them to

but the protesters are not letting police move them

People can still go in and out of Sotheby's but have to walk around the banner

or past protesters holding banners. But the protesters are careful not to try to prevent them entering

A man in a really bad suit goes into the Sotheby's auction

An officer tries to get Class War to move their banner away

A woman arrives by taxi for the auction

But the water pistols are fired at others from Class War, not the rich

The protest seems to be reaching its end as I have to leave
