Al Quds Day March

Marble Arch to Waterloo Place, London.Sunday 13 Sept 2009

Two of the anti-Zionist Jews marched with Muslim leaders at the front of the march

 Rabbi Ahron Cohen

The march starts under the main banner 'Justice for the Murdered Children of Gaza'

More Neturei Karta on the march

The march set off, turning down Park Lane on its way to Piccadilly Circus and Waterloo Place

Meanwhile, a small group of demonstrators against the march were gathering at Piccadilly Circus

They included Iranians as well as right wing football supporters

A few of these demonstratiors stayed outside the pen and were followed by police

One was stopped and searched near Hyde Park corner as the march approached - and then they ran away

The march was noisy and boisterous

but unlike last year I had no problems with stewards while photographing it
