![]() Combpyne Church and a small model of the church ![]() We took a footpath from Combpyne which led to the main road ![]() at Pinewood, another caravan site, then crossed it to go down ![]() a narrow land ![]() with some farm buildings ![]() ![]() before taking another green lane with tall hedges, and just the occasional gate where you could see anything ![]() ![]() ![]() The green lane ![]() Which brought us back to Downham ![]() and we walked back to Rousdon and had a rest |

![]() The next day we went by car to Stonebarrow Hill and walke around the Golden Cap area ![]() ![]() ![]() The Golden Cap really looks more impressive from Lyme Regis ![]() You can see back to Lyme - and well beyond if the air is clearer ![]() and away to the east we could make out Portland ![]() ![]() We walked inland to find the ruined St Gabriel's chapel, past a cottage ![]() used to wash sheep ![]() National trust holiday properties at Stanton St Gabriel |
